Sometimes a piece of clothing is created not just for the body – but also for the stage.
That’s exactly how it was with Robin. Between lights, a fog machine, and the humming sewing machine, we not only tailored a vest but also launched an entire small music project. Because: If it’s a stage outfit, then it should come with its own live session.
Recycled weils schon so viel gibt,
Muster, weil das so lässig ist.
Grün weil’s ihm so gut steht,
Leinen, damit’s auch im Sommer noch geht.
Knöpfe, die so alt sind wie sein Nonno,
weit genug, für eine Pizza mit Tonno.
Streifen für die Abwechslung im Leben,
elegant, damit’s passt zum roten Glas von guten Reben.
Selbstgemacht, weils fair ist und lokal,
Freie Menschen, alle haben die Wahl.
The song? A tongue-in-cheek, musical thank you to Kleiderklammer, directly from Robin’s pen – with lyrics that tell of the fabric warehouse, the humming sewing machine, and fine craftsmanship. And of course, about how an idea becomes an outfit that fits like a good rhyme.
The result: a unique piece that complements Robin’s music as well as his music complements the vest.
His first album will be released in autumn 2025 – and he will, of course, play the concerts in exactly this outfit.
