The upcycling workshop with Leon wasn’t just about sewing, but about discovering, experimenting, and collaborating. We shared the floor, the sewing machine, the scissors, and the chocolate – but most of all, our ideas and creativity. Every seam, every cut was a small adventure. Everything 100% upcycled, 100% unique, 100% fair. And in the end, it wasn’t just a finished piece, but also an unforgettable moment full of joy, sharing, and inspiration.

Both are Extraordinary,
the Poncho and the Boy,
Leon Has much to Tell,
but the Skull Has No Tongue.
The Poncho is Big and Leon is Well-Behaved,
Together They are more than Amazing.
Leon is Different from the Others,
and That’s Precisely why He’s so Great,
but just like the Poncho, He is
Told how He should be.
Why Can’t We just Live and Let Live,
and Love Others Instead of Hating Them.
We Wage War on a Planet that Belongs to the Sun,
and Find Joy when Someone else is Destroyed.
The Poncho and Leon are Made of Different Parts,
to get to Know Them, one Must Spend Time with Them.
He who Never Walked in Another’s Shoes, may not Judge,
Deep Wounds Take a Long Time to Heal.
Good that Sewing Takes a Long Time – the Machine Rattles,
and Leon Cuts and Chats.
We Learn from each other and Strengthen Ourselves with Chocolate and Tea,
to Fulfill Wishes, “it Doesn’t Always” Need a Fairy.
After many Hours, the Poncho is Finished and so are We,
Leon Beams from Ear to Ear and the Sun over His Belly.
It was a wonderful feeling to realize: I can dress myself from head to toe. Every seam, every fabric, every piece tells a story – from the idea to the last stitch. And that’s exactly what makes my clothes so valuable to me.
This moment was not just a trip to an island, but also a small pause: A reminder of why I embarked on this path five years ago – and how much joy it brings me today to wear my own wardrobe.
