There are projects that aren’t hard to create – but hard to give away.

Imagine this: You go to the fabric store, spend an hour finding the softest and most beautiful fabric. At home, you wash it, hang it up, measure, cut, sew, try it on – and eventually, you fall in love with the piece that was created by your hands.

And then comes the moment of letting go.
Letting go of the many hours of work. Of a garment that already holds a piece of your soul. Of something handmade, soft, cozy, that could have become your new home.

That’s hard. Really hard.

But I did it – and now I feel good again. The poncho is in good hands, and I’m sure it will receive a lot of love.
