Everything handmade

Many steps are involved from an idea to the finished Kleiderklammer garment. My hands are involved in the entire process, not always with the same enthusiasm, but sometimes just being present (and remaining so) is truly all that matters.

Design

Sketching the idea, choosing colors and materials, and planning the realization. For this, I use professional illustration and image editing software and my graphic design skills to bring the images from my mind onto paper or the screen.

Pattern Construction

After completing my training at Fashionexpress, my hands are able to design my own custom-fit patterns. Completely old school – with pencil, ruler, and paper.

Cutting

Cutting is the moment when the hands ask the entire body for help. Especially when cutting on the floor, all body parts are truly called upon. Simple cutting becomes a workout with a dual effect.

Sewing

The most fun activity – as long as the thread doesn’t break, the fabric doesn’t jam, the bobbin doesn’t spin, or the tension isn’t right. This requires concentration, patience, and serenity. Swearing sometimes helps – but usually not.

Ironing

Yes, ironing – and no, not just at the end. Because: “Well-ironed is half sewn.”
On some days, quite a lot of steps are involved, depending on how far the iron is from the sewing machine. Good for fitness. Dual effect.

Photography

Not a must, but a desire.
Because without pictures, there would be no proof of all the work. Besides, I love being out with my camera – and I’m very happy to have happy Kleiderklammer wearers in front of the lens.

Filming

Not a must – and not necessarily a desire, but if it’s not feasible photographically, I film. And often, beautiful things emerge from it: a music video, a mini-movie, or simply poetically filmed thoughts.

Yes, I want!

Give me a few details and I’ll make sure your piece of clothing gets to you as quickly as possible.

Thanks for your information :)
